Our branded air-to-air heat pumps take heat from the outdoor air and pump it indoors through the evaporator coil in the air handling unit. Air-to-water heat pumps take heat from the outside air and heat it in a storage tank to which the underfloor or hot-air heating or hot-water heating equipment is connected. Both types of heat pumps can heat and cool.
