1. Personal data controller

We are company C. CH. VZDUCHOTECHNIKA SKALICA, s.r.o. with registered office at Nádražná 2950/33m, 909 01 Skalica, ID No.: 50983296 / VAT ID No.: 2120551378 / VAT ID No.: SK2120551378, Registered in the Commercial Register of the District Court of Trnava, Section: Sro, Insert No. 40320/T and we are the controller of your personal data.

2. What personal data we process about you

We only process personal data that you yourself provide to us or are necessary for the conclusion of a business contract under the relevant legislation and without which we would not be able to resolve your request. If you order services from us or request a quotation, we need data from you that are perceived as essential in business communication (this includes your name and surname, email, telephone number). Without this data, it is not possible to initiate any pre-contractual or contractual communication. When you make an enquiry or order services, you can fill in voluntary and optional data, which helps us to better and more efficiently fulfil your request. If you contact our customer helpline or write to us with a message, we will also process your personal data provided in this communication.

3. Reasons why we collect and process your personal data

  • Offer and implementation of services: first and foremost, we process your personal data in order to properly process your request, order. If there are any problems, thanks to your personal data we know who we can contact directly.
  • Customer care: if you contact us with an enquiry, we need to process your data to answer/resolve it. In some cases, personal data may also be passed on to third parties (e.g. goods carrier, etc.).

    • Marketing competitions: in some cases, the winner of a competition may be photographed or filmed, mainly to increase the transparency of our marketing competitions. We carry out this processing of personal data on the basis of our legitimate interest, which is to increase the credibility of our marketing competitions in the eyes of other competitors and to increase the attractiveness of these competitions.   • Improving our service: using your communication history and web behaviour, we can offer more accurate offers for other services, such as financing. So, in certain places, we display items that are directly relevant to you and match your needs and interests. We can also use tools for testing different variations (A/B testing), Google Analytics, Facebook Analytics, etc. to optimize elements on the site.
  • Customer service ratings: after you contact us with an enquiry about our services, you may be asked to rate them. It is also possible to submit a rating or review on your own initiative.
  • Exercise of rights and legal claims and control by public authorities: we may also process your personal data on the grounds that we need it to exercise our rights and legal claims (e.g. in the event that you have an outstanding claim against us). Furthermore, we may also process your personal data because we need it for the purposes of inspections by public authorities and for other similarly compelling reasons.

4. We process personal data on the following legal bases

  • Performance and conclusion of a contract: We need a large part of your personal data in order to be able to conclude a purchase or other contract with you at all regarding the goods or services you wish to purchase from us. Once the contract is concluded, we process your personal data in order to properly deliver the purchased goods or services to you. Based on this legal basis, we therefore primarily process billing and delivery data.
  • Legitimate interests: we also use your personal data to provide you with relevant, interesting content. In particular, we process personal data that we process automatically and cookies in this way on the basis of a legitimate interest. For the same legal reason, we may send you as our customer email and SMS messages. The processing of your personal data on this legal basis also takes place in the monitoring carried out via cameras at our individual locations. If we then process your personal data on this legal basis, you can object to this processing.
  • Consent: we process your personal data for the purpose of sending you commercial communications (e-mail marketing) on the basis of your consent. If you do not give us your consent and you are our customer, we may send you commercial communications (or call you) without your consent. However, in any event, you may opt-out of such marketing communications from us simply by (a) emailing us at info@cch.sk (b) contacting us via our helpline at +421 948 480 484.

5. How long we process your personal data

In the first instance, we will process your data for the duration of the contractual relationship between us. In the case of processing of personal data for which consent has been given, your personal data will generally be processed for a period of 5 years or until such consent is withdrawn. If you subscribe to our business newsletters, we will process your personal data for a period of 7 years, or until you object to receiving further newsletters or unsubscribe from receiving them. Please also note that we must process those personal data which are necessary for the proper provision of our services or for the fulfilment of all our obligations, whether these obligations arise from a contract between us or from generally applicable law, regardless of the consent you have given, for the period of time specified by or in accordance with the relevant legislation (e.g. for tax documents, this is a period of at least 10 years).

6. Transfer of personal data to third parties

In these cases, we transfer your personal data to third parties:

  • Delivery of goods: your chosen carrier would never be able to deliver the goods you have ordered unless the carrier is given details of where and to whom to deliver the goods. We will pass these details to the carrier as you fill them in on the order form. The data so transmitted includes in particular your name and surname, the delivery address, a telephone number at which the carrier can contact you and, if the goods have not been prepaid, the amount to be paid on receipt of the goods, if applicable. The carrier is entitled to process the personal data we transmit to it only for the purpose of delivery of the goods and to delete the personal data without delay thereafter.
  • Commercial communications: in the case of sending commercial communications (e.g. by email or SMS) or telemarketing, we may use a third party to send or make telephone calls. This entity is bound by a duty of confidentiality and so your personal data will not be used for any purpose other than that to which you have directly consented, namely on behalf of our company.
  • Government authorities: in the event of enforcement of our rights, your personal data may be transferred to a third party (e.g. a lawyer). If we are obliged by law or a public authority to pass on your personal data to them, we must do so in accordance with the applicable legislation.

7. Personal data of third parties that you provide to us

If you provide us with personal data of third parties, it is your responsibility to inform the person concerned and to secure their consent to these privacy terms.

For example, if you want to use our services for your parents or your children, you must only give us their personal data with their consent, or if you want to deliver goods to another address, to a third party, etc.

8. Personal data that we process automatically

When you visit our website, we may collect certain information about you, such as your IP address, the date and time you accessed our website, the source from which you accessed our website, information about your internet browser, operating system or language settings. We may also process information about your behavior on our website, i.e., for example, what specific links on our website you visit and which goods or services you are shown. However, information about your behaviour on the website is anonymised for your maximum privacy and therefore we cannot attribute it to a specific user, i.e. a specific person. We use this data exclusively for the purpose of improving our services or for establishing a profile of our characteristic client.

If you access our website from a mobile phone or similar device or through one of our mobile applications, we may also process information about your mobile device (data about your mobile phone – IMEI, possible records of application failures, etc.).

9. Cookies

We also process cookies automatically. This is a small text file that is created when you visit each website. It is used as a standard tool to store information about how our site is used.

We can thus distinguish (but not identify) individual users from each other and tailor content to specific preferences. Cookies are important. Without them, browsing the web would be much more difficult.

Cookies serve several purposes. We use the following cookies on our website and in our mobile applications. Cookies are used to make our site work properly (e.g. to allow you to select and view our specific goods and services in detail), to prevent you from having to log in all the time, and to prevent you from having to set your preferences over and over again (e.g. setting the language in which our online shop will be displayed to you), which is also where cookies help you to do this. Cookies also help us to improve our site, which ultimately benefits you. Analytical cookies on our website are collected by the Google Analytics script of Google Inc., which then anonymises this data. Once anonymised, it is no longer personal data, as anonymised cookies cannot be attributed to a specific user or a specific person. We only work with cookies in anonymised form.

We also use the knowledge from these cookies for advertising purposes, where we may also show you advertising on third-party websites that we consider relevant to you based on this data.

The use of these cookies is not essential, but they will make your visit to our site much more pleasant and easier.

You can directly influence which of your cookies we process

Just use one of the common web browsers (e.g. Edge, Safari, Firefox, Chrome) with the anonymous browsing function enabled, which will prevent the storage of data about the websites you visit, or you can disable the storage of cookies in your browser altogether. However, if you also disable the processing of technical and functional cookies, this will prevent some of the functions that help you from working.

Unfortunately, disabling analytics cookies will make it much more difficult for us to improve our website.

10. Security of personal data

Your personal data is safe with us. To prevent unauthorised access and misuse of your personal data, we have put in place appropriate technological, physical and organisational measures.

We pay special attention to the protection of your personal data. That is why we not only regularly check their security, but also continuously improve their protection. We endeavour to use security measures that provide sufficient security in the light of the current state of technology. The security measures taken are then regularly updated.

11. Personal data of persons under the age of 16

Our website is not primarily intended for children under the age of 16.

12. What rights you have in relation to the protection of your personal data

In relation to your personal data, you have in particular the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of your personal data at any time, the right to rectify or supplement your personal data, the right to request the restriction of its processing, the right to object to or complain about the processing of your personal data, the right of access to your personal data, the right to request the transfer of your personal data, the right to be informed of a breach of security of your personal data, and, under certain conditions, the right to erasure of some of the personal data that we process in relation to you (the so-called “right to be forgotten”), unless otherwise provided for by a specific law.

13. Modification, correction and completion of personal data

You can change or update your personal information and change your preferences about receiving commercial notifications (or unsubscribe from commercial notifications), etc. You are required by applicable law to provide your personal information truthfully and to update it if it changes.

14. Access, transparency

You can ask us to send you an overview of your personal data by contacting info@cch.sk. At the same time, you have the right to access, for example, the following information regarding your personal data:

  • What are the purposes of processing your personal data
  • What are the categories of personal data concerned
  • Who, apart from us, are the recipients of your personal data
  • Planned period for which your personal data will be stored
  • How your personal data is secured
  • Whether you have the right to request us to rectify or erase your personal data or to restrict or object to the processing of your personal data
  • Information about the source of the personal data if we did not obtain it from you
  • Request the transfer of your personal data

15. Erasure of personal data

You can also request that we delete your data (however, the deletion will not affect data on documents that we are required by law to keep (e.g. invoices or credit notes). If we need your personal data to establish, exercise or defend our legal claims, your request may be refused (e.g. where we hold an outstanding debt against you or in the case of a pending claim).

Except as stated, you have the right to erasure in the following cases:

  • The personal data are no longer necessary for the purposes for which they were processed
  • Personal data are processed unlawfully
  • You have withdrawn your consent on the basis of which the data was processed and there is no further legal basis for processing it
  • You have objected to the processing of your personal data. data and you consider that, when considering the objection, it becomes apparent that, in the particular situation, your interest outweighs our interest in processing the data. of these personal data

17. Restriction of processing

If a situation arises where:

  • you deny the accuracy of your personal data,
  • your personal data is processed unlawfully,
  • we no longer need your personal data for processing purposes, but you need it to establish, exercise or defend your legal claims,
  • if you have raised an objection under the previous point, you have the right to have us restrict the processing of your personal data.
